I have been wondering for some time how valuable it would be to add a web site search capability to my website. In my log files I could see users visiting my website and after one page or so leaving my website. I know from my own experience that if I get to a website I just don’t want to move around to try and find the page I am looking for. I just don’t have the patience. Being able to search the specific website and find the page I am looking for immediately is what I want. By signing on to ONEZEEK (http://www.onezeek.com) and create an account I can add this feature in less than 10 minutes to any website. The system allows you to create many different collections. You could create a collection for the whole website, a collection just for support, etc. It doesn’t matter whether you have a website based on html pages are a website that is dynamically created using PHP or any other programming language. Additionally you can add page information tracking. The application provides a series of reports that inform you of how many visits you received, what searches have been performed, and many more. There also numerous reports related to web site flow. You surely don’t want any 404 (page not found) error messages to appear. This application provides a report with broken links. Try it out it is still for free.
